Everything published here describes what we do and how we do it. It is general information, not advice for your specific environment, and it is not an offer, a quotation, or a contract.

Nothing on this site creates a client relationship. Reading a page, watching a linked demonstration, or submitting the contact form does not engage us and does not bind either of us to anything. Work is performed only under a signed written agreement, and where that agreement and this site disagree, the agreement wins.

Pricing, scope and timelines described anywhere on this site are illustrative of how we work. The fixed fee for any particular migration is set in the engagement agreement for that migration, after scoping.

Accuracy

We write this content carefully and correct it when we find it wrong. Even so, the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Product support dates, vendor roadmaps, licensing terms and product capabilities change without notice and are controlled by the vendors who publish them, not by us. Verify anything time sensitive against the vendor's own current documentation before you make a decision on it.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or that it will be free of errors.

Third party links

The site links to external resources, including vendor documentation and video hosted elsewhere. We do not control those destinations, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy and terms of that destination apply, not ours.

Your use of the site

Do not attempt to interfere with the site, probe or breach its security, submit material you do not have the right to submit, use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for anyone else. We may block access that does any of those things.

Everything on this site, including text, layout, diagrams and the Azure IAM name and mark, belongs to Azure IAM, LLC unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share it. You may not republish it as your own or use it commercially without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Azure IAM, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it, whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to one hundred United States dollars. This clause governs the website only. Liability under a signed engagement agreement is governed by that agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in Virginia.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force.

Changes

We may update these terms. The updated date at the top of the page changes when we do, and continued use of the site after that means you accept the revision.
